Welcome to the summer blog of the American Diversity Project's summer documentary intern David Degner. Immediately following ADP's weeklong group project in May 2007, David will spend the summer developing stories in the Mississippi Delta. Following his time with the American Diversity Project David will join the St. Petersburg Times for a six-month internship. More of David's work can be seen at www.lightstalkers.org/daviddegner.
Through the summer David will be working with ADP producer Carla Winn, and photo editor Dave Perini to develop stories that will be featured on a special section of the American Diversity Project's web site. Also, over the course of the internship some of David's work, thoughts and experiences will be posted in the ADP blog.
